Shared Calendar & Planner offers the integration to all the calendars supporting ICS links, e.g. Google Calendar, Outlook and Apple Calendar.
Subscribed calendars (using ICS/iCal links) do not sync in real-time. Google Calendar generally updates external subscriptions every 8–9 hours, while Outlook (web and desktop) typically updates every 3 to 24 hours. These syncs are one-way and can take up to 24 hours to reflect changes from the source calendar.
All the events from Shared Calendar & Planner will be mirrored in your other calendars, not vice versa. To edit Shared Calendar & Planner events you should use the app via Microsoft Teams or via web link.
How to connect to Outlook Calendar?
- Open your Shared Calendar & Planner app
Hit Share button and copy the ICS Calendar Sync Link
After that open your Outlook Calendar and hit Add Calendar
Find Subscribe from web section and paste the copied URL to your Shared Calendar & Planner
- Name your Calendar and click Import
Now all the events from your Shared Calendar & Planner will be mirrored in your Outlook Calendar
How to connect to Google Calendar?
- Open your Shared Calendar & Planner app
Hit Share button and copy the ICS Calendar Sync Link
- After that open your Google Calendar and open Settings
Find Add Calendar section and choose From URL tab
Paste the copied URL to your Shared Calendar & Planner and hit Add Calendar
Now all the events from your Shared Calendar & Planner will be mirrored in your Google Calendar
How to connect to your Apple Calendar?
- Open your Shared Calendar & Planner app
Hit Share button and copy the ICS Calendar Sync Link
- Click File in the top menu bar, then choose New Calendar Subscription.
- Paste the copied Shared Calendar & Planner link and click Subscribe.
- Enter a name and color for the calendar.
- Now all the events from your Shared Calendar & Planner will be mirrored in your Apple Calendar
